Building a 13cm VE4MA feed:
First, you will have to steal a cooking pan of the right diameter from the kitchen.Note that, i take no responsability i you get hurt by the owner (your wife , for example) doing that.
In my case, i prefered to buy a new one.Much safer, it will look better anyway.

Then cut a piece of 10cm aluminium tube at a lenght of 32cm.
Solder a piece of wire (1,6 or 2mm diam) in the center conductor of a "N" female panel connector,and cut it to have a lenght INSIDE THE CAN of 3.15cm.
Make a hole 4.7cm from the bottom to bolt the "N" connector. Make sure the probe is straight in all planes.
-Make a hole about 2 cm -Slowly make a edge all Cut it .Make it straight! The ring is ready smaller than necessary. around with pliers.
